“ Look. We are not in New York. But I'd wager this is the best NY-style pizza just outside of the DMV. Originally from NY, we ate pizza from Pasquale's every Friday. As it turns out, I took it all for granted. You just can't consistently find the same quality of pizza elsewhere. We tried all the local places to find one that came closest to that NY taste and this here is the winner. We keep it simple with pepperoni / cheese, but they offer big, loaded slices for their lunch special (recommended) and their chicken parm sandwich is also great. Side of meatballs offers three massive spheres coated in parmesan and bathed in marinara. My only very very small complaint is there there appear to be at least a couple different people making pizza. The A-team, usually in place on Friday nights) is a no doubt 5-star pie, while the others are more inconsistent, at about a 4-5 rating depending on where you catch them. TBH, Valentinos would likely be a 3.5-4 star place in NY; however, it's an easy Haymarket 5. Service is a pizza parlor style, with a self-service counter. Ambience is also a casual, walk-in pizza parlor style with NY-theme tchotchkes here and there. You don't go here for the service or ambience. Just get the pizza! ”
“ Wow!!! I just ordered Valentino's for dinner that was delivered through Uber Eats and I am very satisfied. I ordered the garlic knots, Alfredo rigatoni and the kids chicken fingers and fries. My son ate every bite of his meal happily. The pasta was delicious. Exactly what I had hoped for. I also ordered the chocolate mousse but I am too stuffed to try it right now! We will be going to Valentino's Pizzeria again! ”
“ This is my second visit to this establishment. Came here for a quick lunch since I was in the mood for pizza. I ordered a slice of the meat pie and a fountain drink. This place looks nice when you enter - lots of light, clean, and an appealing display of food ready for just a quick heating. The owner was pleasant enough and greeted me when I entered the restaurant. Overall the pizza was good, lots of toppings as you can see in my photos. But I've certainly had other pizzas that were a bit more to my liking. I would really like more sauce and cheese on my pizza. There are quite a few other items on the menu, I think next time I'll try something other than pizza. ”
